The White Cliffs

Short and sweet today. Today’s post brought to you by Eric Johnson’s guitar classic Cliffs of Dover. Watch the video to see Johnson’s insane technique (you’ll start to recognize the tune around 2:25) or listen to it on Spotify here. I couldn’t find any sources explaining the origin of the song’s title, but let’s just say, the driving melody didn’t match my peaceful experience this lovely, lonesome, gray morning.

Saw these on the way to the trail. Can we talk about that people live in these houses? The photo doesn’t show it properly, but I wouldn’t be surprised if their back doors don’t open all the way. They are THAT close to the base of the cliff.

Thanks for tuning in. A love letter to Keane is coming your way shortly!
