Prague in Details

While Prague has an amazing skyline of castle and church spires and red tile roofs, I fell in love with the details and pastel vignettes of this city. I’m going to let the photos speak for themselves.

But first, give Prague by Damien Rice a listen. Actually you have to listen to Eskimo, the last track on Rice’s O album and KEEP listening, through the silence at the end, until Prague starts. It’s kind of a secret track, and it would make a great addition to your Rainy Day or Feelin’ Lonely playlist. Come on, I know you have those.

Also, if you ever have a chance to drink a cup of hot spiced wine and walk across Charles Bridge at night, do it.

I happened upon a celebration of Czechoslovak Independence Day (Oct 28), which explains the crowd in that last pic. Also, the pic at the very top of the post is not me, but I thought that lady was just so stylish and lovely.
